COVID- 19 Spring Vaccine UPDATE

NHS Scotland will contact you in spring 2025 if you’re eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Please wait to be contacted.

You’re eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine this spring if you are:

• aged 75 years and over
• in a care home for older adults
• over the age of 6 months and have a weakened immune system

It’s important to take up the vaccine every time you’re offered. Even if your health condition is well managed, you’re still at increased risk.

You’ll receive an invitation to an appointment or information about how to book. If you previously chose to be contacted digitally, you’ll receive a text or email. Otherwise, you’ll receive a letter.

NHS Highland are responsible for all adult and childhood vaccinations and immunisations

With effect from Wednesday 1 March 2023 NHS Highland took responsibility for delivering all remaining vaccinations and immunisations that previously were provided by your GP Practice. This includes, but may not be limited to, the following services. To help patients navigate the new service model we have added details of how to access them:

This change is part of a Scotland wide programme removing these services from all GP practices.
